With easy access from I-5 from any direction, the House of Bass and Lilies is conveniently located. Whether
you're in the mood for a nice dinner out or a hearty breakfast, you'll find both available at a number of restaurants
just a few minutes away in town. Enjoy fishing, boating, swimming, or just relaxing at Lake Siskyou also
a few minutes' drive from the house. Round of golf or tennis? Tee off or serve at nearby Mount Shasta Golf Club. Explore
the area on foot along picturesque hiking trails. If biking is your passion, follow existing bike trails or blaze your own.
Snow skiing, cross country skiing, show-shoeing, snow mobiling and ice skating (outdoor rink and lake) are available
in the winter. And for the less adventurous, shopping in the quaint Mount Shasta boutiques followed by a movie at the local
cinema might be your perfect activity!
Be sure to leave time to have a visit to the headwaters of the Sacramento River. Take along some empty
water bottles and fill them with the freshest, sweetest water you've ever had!

What a view!
There are views all around. Besides the obvious views of Black Butte Mountain,
out front are the Eddys. To the southwest is, of course, Mount Shasta. A careful scan of the immediate surroundings will reveal
a variety of wildlife. If you're lucky you'll see deer, raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, lizards and other friendly creatures!
